Homesick?

Landing just two days, how could I be homesick? I met with friends who are based in London for many years. They chose Din Tai Fung (鼎泰豐) and Meet fresh (鮮芋仙), which are served Taiwanese food. They felt like back home during the meals. Actually I ate many Taiwanese typical dishes and desserts before came to London. I can’t feel the same way of that. Maybe I will be one of them soon….

Déjà Vu

When I saw this sight, it made me think the boy is like my brother who feels “who cares”. The father and little girl are exactly like my dad and younger sister, one is welling to carry everything up for his family and one is really “tsundere”.

Déjà vu

is the feeling that one has lived through the present situation before. The phrase translates literally as “already seen”.

Tsundere (ツンデレ)

is a Japanese term for a character development process that describes a person who is initially cold (and sometimes even hostile) before gradually showing a warmer, friendlier side over time.
